OUR DOCTORS

Dr. Tung Duc Nguyen, M.D., Pediatrician Falls Church, Virginia

Dr. Nguyen Duc Tung, M.D.

Dr. Tung graduated from medical school in Vietnam in 1979. He completed pediatric residency in Brooklyn Hospital, New York City in 1987. He has been practicing pediatrics in Northern Virginia since then for over 30 years. 

 

He worked at PRIMUS Clinic in Burke, VA serving military families and he was staff at Fairfax Hospital, Arlington Hospital and Alexandria Hospital before devoting his full time working at his current clinic.

 

Dr . Tung enjoys traveling, gardening, and participating in Boy Scouts during his free time.

He's married with two children. His wife, Dr. Loan Dang is a family dentist practicing next door to his clinic.

His elder son, Dr. LamSon Nguyen completed his pediatric residency at INOVA Children's Hospital and joined Dr. Tung in practice in July 2018. His younger son, Dr. Tayson Nguyen recently graduated from medical school and is now a radiology resident physician at Tulane University Hospital.

Dr. Nguyen Dang LamSon, D.O.

Dr. LamSon is a board certified pediatrician. He attended medical school at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in 2015. He has completed his pediatric residency at INOVA Children's Hospital June 2018 and is now practicing along side his father Dr. Tung at Pediatrics of Seven Corners.

He graduated from J.E.B. Stuart High School in Falls Church, VA in 2006. He attended college at Virginia Commonwealth University, graduating in 2010 with a Bachelor's of Science, majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry. He then completed a Master's Certificate in Advanced Biomedical Sciences in a combined Georgetown University and George Mason University program in 2011 before starting medical school.

Dr. LamSon enjoys lifting weights, working on cars, trying new foods, and singing karaoke in his free time.

In June 2018, Dr. LamSon was recognized by the INOVA Children's Hospital Residency Program for his outstanding clinical knowledge and skills, receiving both the Resident Physician of the Year Award as well as the prestigious Dr. Michael Alteri Award for excellence in mentoring, education, and innovativeness.
